EXCLUSIVE: C6-01 is a non-qwerty Symbian^3 device!

Recently Nokia C6-01 appeared on Netherlands’ Nokia Online Store a bit too early. What we already know is that it’ll have better 8mpix camera. What you’re looking at is the new C6-01, as you can see it’s slightly different than it’s predecessor and what you can easily spot is that it have a Symbian^3 homescreen! I found the image on the German site called NokiaPort.de. We have found another thing confirming the fact that device is real. User Agent Profile – http://nds.nokia.com/uaprof/NC6-01r100.xml which confirmed the fact that device is running S^3, also it gave us another hint. Normally when the device have qwerty keyboard it’s clearly stated in the UAP, here we have option called ‘PhoneKeyPad’ which is basically nothing but a full touch device!

We made a little investigation in this case. What do we found that is that we were right about that. Just look at the comparison pic:

You have to look closely to see that original C6-00 have a little gap where the sliding mechanism is placed. New C6-01 appear not to have that gap so… It’s touch only! So there you have it, folks!
